How much does it cost to repair hydraulics?
Hydraulic repair costs vary based on the component type, brand, extent of wear, and whether machining is required. A basic seal and gasket replacement typically costs less than a full pump or motor rebuild involving precision machining and valve reconditioning. We recommend submitting your unit for evaluation so our technicians can provide an accurate quote based on actual inspection findings and manufacturer specification requirements.
What brands of hydraulic pumps and motors do you rebuild?
We rebuild components from over 30 major brands, including Rexroth, Parker, Eaton, Danfoss, Sundstrand, Kawasaki, Vickers, Komatsu, Uchida, Hydromatik, Brueninghaus, Cessna, Linde, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, John Deere, Volvo, and Sauer Danfoss, among many others. If you don't see your brand listed, contact us—our technicians have extensive multi-brand expertise.
Do your rebuilt hydraulic units come with a warranty?
Yes. Every hydraulic pump, motor, and drive rebuilt by Hydrostatic Transmission Service comes with a 1-year warranty. This warranty covers the quality of the rebuild and applies to both units we rebuild and exchange program units. Our Statistical Process Control system ensures every unit meets manufacturer specifications before it ships.
What is the exchange program and how does it reduce downtime?
Our Short-Time Exchange Program allows you to receive a fully tested, quality-assured rebuilt unit quickly before sending in your core. This eliminates the wait associated with standard repair turnaround, keeping your equipment operational. Exchange units are available for all major brands and come with the same full warranty as our standard rebuilt units.
What does the hydraulic rebuild process include?
Our rebuild process includes pressure washing and disassembly, solvent cleaning in a reduced-dust environment, parts measurement against OEM specs, valve reconditioning, machining or parts replacement, charge pump rebuild, new seals and O-rings, leak testing, pressure and flow calibration using our Statistical Process Control system, a fresh paint job, and oil fill for safe shipment.
Do you offer hydraulic parts for purchase separately?
Yes. We supply new and used hydrostatic and hydraulic parts internationally, including hard-to-find components. Our parts inventory covers brands such as Parker, Eaton, Vickers, Rexroth, Hydromatik, Cessna, Kawasaki, Danfoss, Sundstrand, Brueninghaus, and Uchida.
